Triple Spectacular - MGs, Wheels, & Warbirds

Millville, NJ, September 19-21

What more could you ask for!  Vintage Racing – MGs – Air Show – Car Show – Air Museum – SCCA racing - Vintage Band – Vacation Opportunities – and much more!  The planets will all be aligned the weekend of September 19-21st in Millville, New Jersey (about 30 miles west of Atlantic City)!  The Main Event will be the “Thunderbolt Historics” -  three days of vintage car races sanctioned by VRG (Vintage Racer Group), featuring MG.  Around 200 or more vintage race cars are expected!  The MG Vintage Racers (MGVR) have also designated this their East Coast “Focus Event” for 2008.  Between 70 to 100 MGs are expected to dice it out on the country’s newest “dual racetrack” at the New Jersey Motorsports Park (Opening July ‘08).  The vintage race cars will be racing on the 1.9 mile “Lightning” course, while SCCA cars will be racing next to them on the 2.25 mile “Thunderbolt” course!   The adjacent Millville airport - which was the home to WWII “Thunderbolt” P-47 fighter pilot training - will have their “Vintage Airshow”, both on the ground and in the air this weekend.  Over 25 operational “vintage aircraft” are expected, including P-47’s!  Compliment that with a “Vintage Car Show” - domestic & foreign - all while the races are going on Saturday and Sunday.  Plenty of MGs are expected in the car show also – enter yours!  Plus they have an Army Air Force Museum right there at the airport featuring P-47’s that you’ve just got to visit!  Engines will sing during the day, but 50’s bands will make the music Saturday evening.  And if that’s not enough, this is one of the prime vacation areas of the country, with Atlantic City, historic Cape May, the wonderful Jersey shore, and Casinos to try your luck at, plus Philadelphia - all nearby.  Need more - golf, wineries, rivers, parks, glassmaking, art, and more abound!  Plus September is such perfect weather here!  So no matter what your interest, this is a Win-Win event for everyone!  Don’t miss this rare opportunity!  Make you plans and reserve a room NOW!
